As a fellow mental health practitioner, I’d like to ask you a very important question,
How often do you take care of yourself?
We tend to put everyone first, and ourselves last. We have a wealth of knowledge on self-care that we give to others,
yet how often do we show the same level of concern towards ourselves?
NOT AS OFTEN AS WE SHOULD
However for professional mental health therapists who do not replenish their energy they suffer in the shadows of their healing work.
When this happens they will experience burnout, confusion, lost career, lost income, and lost motivation. These stresses can carry over to their personal life affecting their sleeping patterns, and relationships creating illnesses and a sense of identity.

With over 20 years of experience being a trauma therapist myself,
I know how you feel and facing many challenges with my highly sensitive nature. I often felt alone in the struggle and that’s exactly why I created this program.
To give you the insight, community, and tangible steps you need to truly practice the self-care that will help you thrive at this stage of your life and career by practicing self-care on all levels.
Week 1: The Fundamentals of Self Care and the Root Chakra
You will learn to understand HSP (highly sensitive person) and Empath traits. Understanding these traits and identifying them is key to understanding the type of self-care you need for your nervous system.
You will learn about your Root Chakra, and how you can use it to feel more grounded, stable, and centered. You will also learn about your root chakra animal, a meditation technique that involves the embodiment of an animal that brings you strength, focus, and clarity.
This week will also give you an introduction to the fundamentals of self-care on mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. You will also learn about the moon cycles and how it relates to your life. Lastly, you will learn about the science of subtle energy, and how it relates to your life.
Week 2: Introduction to SoulCollage®
SoulCollage® is a creative and intuitive art process that gives you access to deeper parts of your subconscious mind. This process will help you access memories, uncover experiences and will be guide in showing you parts of yourself that you may have lost touch with.
This art process will help you to clear stuck energies, break out of negative patterns and give you a better sense of peace, clarity and creativity. By the end of making a deck of your own SoulCollage® cards, you will have a set of cards that relate to and represent multitude of aspects of your subconscious mind and your soul. These cards can be later used for guidance, meditation and getting back in touch with deep parts of yourself.
Week 3: Sacral Chakra and Companion Animal
You will learn about the Sacral Chakra and how it relates to your ability to experience pleasure, express emotions and live through the energy of passion in your life. You will learn how to access it, balance it and clear it to center your mind, give you clarity and more inner peace.
Also, you will learn a companion animal meditation for this chakra, meditating on the energy of this animal will reveal the necessary spiritual work you need to do.
Keeping your Sacral Chakra balanced is key for a balanced energy flow within the body. This flow will give you more vitality, more focus and help to put you in an optimum state of mental, spiritual and emotional health.
Week 4: Solar Plexus, Solar Plexus Animal and Clearing Energy
This week will teach you about the your Solar Plexus Chakra, the source of your will power. You will learn about its colors, vibration and how to balance this energy center for more will power, personal power and the ability to set boundaries in your life.
Change and transformation are driven by your willpower so enhancing this energy center will help you make the lasting changes you want in your life.
You will also learn about the companion animal meditation for this Chakra. These meditation exercises will help your mind tap into your POWER companion animal during the times you need more personal strength.
This week will also cover how to clear and cleanse your internal energy and the energy of your personal space. This practice will allow you to change your internal vibration and the vibration and atmosphere of your home, room, clinic or office.
Week 5: Heart Chakra, Heart Chakra Companion Animal, Heart Meditation, Emotional Self Care
As an Empath or (HSP) you will learn about the importance of balancing your Heart Chakra. It tends to be very wide, expansive, and open. This is why you feel things the way you do and are sensitive to other people’s emotions. The size of your heart chakra will block the energy of the three others below it, causing imbalances and blocked energy that can effect your life.
Blocked energy can also manifest in your physical body as health issues, (hence the term disease). Clearing disturbances in the body caused by the Heart Chakra will put you in a better state of physical and emotional health.
You will also learn a companion animal meditation that will give you access to information needed to balance your heart and emotions.
Heart meditation will teach you about the intelligence of your heart and how to tap into and control the power of your intuition.
These meditations will help you feel more centered within yourself, will lessen the intensity of the emotions you feel, and allow your other Chakra to come into a state of balance.
This skill will change your life because it will give you more control over how you feel and manage the emotions of others on a day-to-day basis with your clients.
Week 6: Throat Chakra Companion Animal, EFT, Archetypes
The Throat Chakra controls our ability to express ourselves and speak our truth. When it is blocked, we hold in the things we need to say and we don’t allow ourselves to be heard. As HSP's we are highly sensitive to how others feel, so we tend to be nervous and even afraid of speaking our truth when it can upset others around us.
You will learn the Throat Chakra companion animal meditation. This meditation will allow you to tap into the power of an animal that is associated with fearless expression. The power of this animal will help you overcome your fear of speaking your truth while allowing you to fully express yourself. This will ease tension in the mind and body while creating better communication patterns with people in your life.
You will learn more in-depth EFT techniques that will give you a greater release of physical stress, and tension and guide you into deeper states of relaxation.
Also, you gain a deep understanding of the concept of archetypal energies and how they shape your path in life. There are typically 8-12 archetypal energies that run our lives. Having an understanding of how to consciously tap into and choose to embody these energies will bring balance to our personality traits. This will give us a better quality relationships and improve our overall quality of life.
Week 7: 3rd Eye Chakra Meditation, 3rd Eye Animal Companion, Intuitive Cards, Energetic Meditation
The 3rd Eye Chakra is said to be the seat of our intuition and our gateway to accessing higher consciousness. You will learn a 3rd Eye meditation practice that will activate this energy center. It will sharpen your intuition and give you access to higher dimensions of awareness.
You will also learn to visualize your 3rd Eye Chakra animal, embodying this animal will sharpen your intuition and help you access and understand your mystical sixth sense.
Learning to use this sense will give you more intuitive guidance in your life. It will help you in your decision-making process and it will increase your clarity about your future.
You will also put the Soulcollage® cards together and learn how to use them to hone your intuition. This exercise will help develop your intuition because it gives you access to your intuitive and creative right brain.
Intuitive card making will bring out information buried deep in your subconscious mind. This process will help you access the parts of your mind and soul that you may not be fully aware of. In doing so you will be able to make clearer decisions, you will be centered within yourself and you will be able to be in touch with a valuable part of yourself that you rarely access.
I will also teach you a meditation exercise that will connect you to the energies of heaven and earth. This meditation teaches you to bring subtle energy in from both elements, the ethers, and the earth. It will give you an amazing sense of personal power, and clarity and deepen your connection with the divine.
Week 8: Crown Chakra, Crown Chakra Companion Animal, Raising Vibration through Sound, Rewiring Cords
During this week, you will learn how to clear and balance your crown chakra. This chakra connects us to higher energies and is believed to be the gateway to accessing our concept of the divine.
The Crown Chakra animal mediation will teach you to embody the power of an animal that you associate with connecting to source energy and higher consciousness. Having access to higher consciousness will bring an amazing sense of peace, clarity, beauty, and power to your life.
Sound is a pattern of vibration that can deeply connect to our mind, body, and consciousness, so it is an easy way to raise the vibration. You will be taught to use specific sound frequencies and music meditations to raise your vibration. This will bring joy, peace, clarity, and calm to your life and put you in a very pleasant state of mind.
Through our involvement with others, we sometimes attach an energetic tie or “karmic cord” that ties us to them. These karmic attachment cords can drain your energy. You will learn how to cut karmic cords with others so you can reclaim your lost power and feel more rejuvenated and revitalized.
Week 9: Balancing Chakras, Pendulum, SoulCollage® Balance Card
By this point in the course you will have a deeper understanding of what your Chakras are and what they do. During this week you will learn how to use a pendulum to test and gauge the energy of each one of your chakras. The movement of the pendulum will give you a clear indication if the Chakra is balanced or not.
By learning how to test the balance of your Chakras, you’ll be able do this on your own anytime you need to. When you learn how to test then bring your Chakras back into balance, it will result in a better state of mental, physical and emotional health. Balancing your Chakras will give you more energy, vitality, clarity and focus.
SoulCollage® balance card will bring you guidance on how to stay balanced in your life. This card can be left somewhere where you can see it so it reminds you of the things you need to rebalance in yourself and in your life.
Week 10: Manifestation, Energy hygiene, Reading SoulCollage Cards and the meditation
Abundance is all around you all the time, the only thing stopping you from accessing it in your life is your mindset and belief systems.
You will learn to access your Inner Royalty through a guided abundance meditation. This meditation will destroy your limiting beliefs and give you the confidence you need to manifest whatever you want in your life.
You will also learn other ways to raise your vibration and how to attract and manifest the things you want in your life.
This will allow you to live in a state of ease and in the “flow” of life. You will be able to stay in your flow state by listening to this guided meditation daily. It will stay in your subconscious mind. Once this new energy and belief system is rooted in your subconscious mind you will be able to really start to change the reality of your life. You will gain the confidence to attract things, situations, and people with ease.
Energy hygiene is similar to physical hygiene. You bathe, shower, and change your clothes daily to take care of your body, so you will learn some “hygiene” practices for balancing your internal (energy) body. These practices will teach you to balance, clear, and align your chakras, bio-field, and meridians daily.
This will give you a new level of vitality, put you in a higher vibrational state and allow you to attract the things you desire into your life. These practices will also allow divinity to support us and align with our intentions. Doing these exercises daily will give you a feeling of immense peace and deep relaxation.
Reading your Soulcollage® cards will give you guidance and awareness of what steps need to be taken next to better your life.
Week 11: Energy Hygiene, Emotrance, Inner Critic and Cheerleader, Soulcollage® Cards
You will learn how to connect with our guides or “higher beings” through a guided meditation and then make SoulCollage® cards to remind us to ask them for support and guidance. Living in connection with higher energies will help you navigate life’s difficulties and give you insight into complex decisions.
Emotrance is meditation to relax and release emotional tension. In this short meditation, you will learn to easily release tension from your body. This can help you find peace and a calm state of mind instantly.
The SoulCollage® cards will focus this week on your inner critic and your inner cheerleader. These two opposing forces will balance each other out. Often HSP/Empaths have a strong inner critic and we are very hard on ourselves.
This meditation exercise will give it space and a visual presence. This will allow you to access it and be more aware of how it is affecting your life.
Having this awareness will allow us to listen to the harsh voice of the inner critic less, and the more uplifting voice of the cheerleader more. Eventually, the cheerleader will become more apparent each day, more so than the inner critic.
This will allow you to let go of negative, self-sabotaging thoughts and instead think more positively. It will help you see the brighter side of things and allow you to be in vibration to attract more of what you want into your life. It will also give you the ability to be kinder to yourself and practice more self love.
Week 12: Positive EFT, Beauty Counter
In the final week of this course, you will practice touch using tapping techniques while using positive statements for each point. By forming this habit, your brain will start to look at things in a more positive way, will allow you to feel more relaxed and it will give you a greater sense of inner peace.
Being HSP/Empaths what we put into our body and on our body is important. This is why we must choose the products we use very carefully.
You will also be introduced to Beautycounter. It is a company that offers non-toxic sustainable beauty products. This company is also advocating for the safety of all beauty products ranging from shampoos, soaps, and cosmetics.
Your physical and mental health can improve by using non-toxic products because conventional cosmetics have toxins in them that can clog the endocrine system, and ultimately be the cause of some cancers.
As a consultant for Beautycounter, I advocate for the use of non-toxic products as a means of improving and maintaining a positive state of mental, emotional, and physical health.

Meet Stacey B. Shapiro, MSW, MLC, HWP
Stacey has spent the last 20 years developing an intuitive and integrative approach to her work as a Master Social Worker, Play Therapist, Healer, and Master Life Coach.
With HSPs being over eighty percent of my practice, she has found the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Harmonic Vibrational Matching, Reiki, Alchemical Hypnosis, Somatic Healing for pain, injury, and illness, Soul Expression Art, and other Energy Techniques to be transformative for her clients.
These are just a few of the tools she will teach you to experience more peace in your life. Her style and approach are down-to-earth and collaborative, and her intuitive nature makes it easy for clients to find success.
Currently, she is in private practice, seeing patients virtually and through telehealth. She brings a wealth of information about navigating life-changing and stressful events.
Stacey has been invited to speak at corporate lunch and learn events.
